Widdle is fitting right in!

After two weeks of being home Widdle is fitting right in. Dobby is such a good dog with the little ones. Plays with both Lilly and Widdle very gently. Widdle is picking up fetch really well and knows the come command. He loves his daily walks around the block and finds time to nap in his kennel with out us having to put him there. Still a few mistakes on the floor but he is getting better and has learned how to us the doggie door to go out back and play with Dobby. Lilly and I have been out of town working and helping Ryan with a remodel project at his home. Ryan and Sarah are spoiling her with treats when ever they can.

What we use to schedule Widdle’s day

Erin and I have found that it is important to make sure when you have a new puppy that you get them on a schedule right away. Widdle loves to hang out with his big brother Dobby but every now and then he does need to take a brake and have a nap.

One thing I have found really hard over the years is finding a schedule that outlines exactly what I need to do and when it needs to be done so the puppy is successful at Potty Training and other training skills like fetch, sit, stay, and come.

Here is a program that I recently found right after we got Widdle our 10 week old Yorkshire Terrier. We have signed up for their informative free emails as well as picked up their free starter kit. We used their Sample Puppy Schedule and it seems to be working out really well. Here is the schedule we have layed out for Widdle.

Planning Better Off Grid Camping Trips

As I learn more about RV’ing the more tools and programs I find to be very helpful. Here is one that I have found helps you find free local camp sites if you want to live off grid for a while. I have only looked at The Dyrt website and not used it yet for actual planning as most of my trips were already planned for this year. They provide a 7-Day free trial for a Pro version so you can experience everything they offer. With their Trip Planner you can choose your route, camping style, driving preferences, and find the best campgrounds along your route. Take a look and let me know what you think.
